The programme NWC is designed to collect, digitize, store and print single channel, hydrographic reflection seismic data by using a standard PC. NWC can be used as a substitute to commonly used line-printers. It provides much higher flexibility for the user.
The required standard hardware components of the system allow easy service and repair.
NWC can be used with different seismic systems e.g. boomer, profiler, sparker, airgun or sediment echosounder with a working frequency up to 22 kHz. They can  be printed on any type of Windows® printer or plotter.

NWC ist fully integrated in the environment of the operating system.

RECORDING FUNCTIONS:
Analog:
Data (1st channel), trigger analog (2nd channel)
for Boomer, Sparker-, profiler (3.5kHz), sediment echo-sounder data  etc.
Digital:
WAV und SEG-Y
Data storing:
NWF- format (16 bit, rawdata, little disc space required)

Export:
ASCII, Xact, TIFF, BMP, SEG-Y and analog
Printing:
Scalable on every system-integrated printer in B/W, graylevels and colour. If required, the printout is split into several pages
Printout even x-revers.
Graphic recorder (EPC GSP 1086)

PRESENTATION:
BW, graylevel, blue/red (phase analysis), colour, +, +/-, - amplitude. Zoom und scroll functions in x- and t-direction, all functions are available during recording.
Various windows for data plus one for recording. Adjustable brightness, contrast and threshold.
Adjustable sample rate; pings/sec. unlimited.

PROCESSING:
Lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch filter to be combined optionally.
Oscilloscope mode display.
Spectral analysis and filter test online.
Stacking, TVG

POSITION INTERFACE:
 NMEA, time and event marks, editable data base for marks
